PBS

- What is PBS?
In preschool, Positive Behavior Supports (PBS) are woven into the fabric of teaching and learning throughout the school day. Teachers provide comprehensive instruction and a positive behavioral intervention approach that
establishes a supportive preschool learning environment. PBS provides targeted instruction of social-emotional skills and supports children that exhibit challenging behavior.- Research shows that the use of PBS in schools increases time for instruction, positively impacts student social emotional learning and decreases disruptive behaviors, by teaching students positive alternatives.
